The chairman of the parents initiative in Pforzheim, Mr. Waldemar Meser, tells us more about the Yalp Sutu on the Haidaich schoolyard in Pforzheim.
Immediately enthusiastic
Mr. Meser discovered the interactive Sutu ball wall for the first time in a residential area in The Hague. He was immediately enthusiastic and convinced by the classic ball wall and its new look. Mr. Meser told us:
I immediately saw something new and digital, exactly what young people are interested in nowadays! The nice thing is that the players can play together and play alone, without any pressure from others. And then there is the great choice of games! So we can offer variety to young people. You can see how they easily concentrate for 30 to 45 minutes and how they are in full motion!
It is easily accessible from all sides, there is always plenty of light, and it is a safe place. We can see those young people like coming here. And we are also happy about that because they don’t hang around in other (less safe) places.

Solar Energy
When Mr. Meser told his colleagues, they couldn’t believe it at first and asked themselves how they could operate an electronic device, as they had no power supply for the planned location. But the answer came quickly: solar energy! The Yalp Sutu is powered in the schoolyard by two solar panels installed on the roof, which, according to Mr. Meser, works very well.
The solar panels provide enough electricity for the Sutu so that the players can play without worries.
In the schoolyard, open to everyone
The Haidach school is located in the middle of a residential area and is therefore freely accessible to everyone. It is not only fun for the students but also for the children from the neighborhood.
It is easily accessible from all sides, there is always plenty of light, and it is a safe place. We see that young people like coming here. And we are happy about that because then they don’t hang around in other (less safe) places, says Mr. Meser.
The Yalp Sutu is even included in sports lessons!

Soccer in physical education
Through the good contact we have with the school management, we have learned that the Yalp Sutu is even included in the physical education classes. They play various games on the interactive ball wall for an hour, explains Mr. Meser
Mr. Meser told us that the parents’ initiative would expand this project in the schoolyard, in a few months, with a Street Soccer Court. This way, it will be a real soccer court!
Simply satisfied
We at Yalp are very pleased with how satisfied Mr. Meser is, not only with the Yalp Sutu but also with our service:
You always respond quickly, whether I call now or write about WhatsApp!
And what else did Mr. Meser tell us? Every day he walks by the Yalp Sutu at the Haidach school to see how it is played with joy. We are proud of that.
